After leaving that bad campground, we drove to Sparks to stay at Sparks Marina and RV Park. This was a beautiful campground with full hook ups and good wifi. It was close to shopping and restaurants. We even ate breakfast at the Black Bear Restaurant. The employees were friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.
From Sparks we continued down 395 to Bridgeport, CA, where we stayed at Paradise Shores RV Park for 3 nights. It was a funky small campground right on Bridgeport Reservoir. It has 30 amp electricity, water, dump, and good wifi.
. While in Bridgeport we drove to Mono Lake. On our way back to the campground we ate at the Burger Barn in Bridgeport. Highly rated on Yelp. John had a great hamburger (he said) and I had a chicken sandwich with green chilies and it was very good.
The next day we drove to Twin Lakes, which was a beautiful area.
From here we will head to Bishop, and that will be my next post.
