We stayed at this park for 3 days before heading to San Antonio. The campground was very quiet and nice sized camping sites. The first pictures were from Site 205 and then we moved to Site 209
This recreational area is on the Guadalupe River in Kerrville. It was originally a Texas State park developed by the Civilian Conservation Corps between 1935 and 1937, and the state transferred the park to the City of Kerrville in 2004. While there we drove into Kerrville, which is a nice sized city, and to Comfort, which is a very small town.
Next stop, San Antonio to visit friends, Cookie and Frank, who moved here from Murrietta, CA. 10 months ago.
