After Wall, SD we continued on to Rapid City, SD and spent the night at the Central States Fairground. It was nothing special, expensive and quiet. From there we headed to Hart Ranch, in Rapid City, where we would meet up with our friends from Jojoba, Murray/Nancy Procter and CJ/Art Walker. Beautiful campground with lots of campsites.
One day we drove up to the Prairie Berry Winery. All of us went by car, except John and Murray, who got there on their motorcycle.
The wine was very interesting, with names like Gold Digger, Razzy Apple, and Red Ass Rhubarb. My favorite was Buffaloberry Fusion, which was made with South Dakota Buffaloberries offers notes of honey and white grapes.
We stayed here for 2 days, and then proceeded towards Colorado. First night was at Terry Bison Ranch, where we have stayed before. Tried to get in Curt Gowdy State Park, but it was full. Next we stayed at Greeley RV Park, lots of livers but it was very quiet.
We found on Campendium a city park in Elizabeth, Colorado so we decided to try it. It is called Casey Jones City Park and it is very nice and quiet. Lots of big pine trees and not too big. It rained both days we were there and with the sites being dirt it was kind of messy.
