Leaving Farrugut State Park we headed for Crowsnest Pass Campground in Bellevue, Alberta, a 239-mile drive. But, first, we had to cross the border into Canada. Many people told horror stories of trying to cross with pets, so I was a little nervous even though we had all paperwork for Sadie and Kolohe. The crossing was very easy, however. We had a really nice border agent that asked to see our passports, and since Sadie was standing up, she asked for the pets’papers. She asked if we had any weapons, bear spray, fire wood, mace, how much alcohol, where we were heading and how long (I showed our itinerary) and that was it. Into Canada we drove.
Thanks so much for the border crossing information-i will be going north soon! I enjoy your adventures and great pictures! Sadie looks quite pleased with the whole thing!
